Yu-Gi-Oh!: Bakura Ryou

A new transfer student to Domino High School, Bakura Ryou was quick to aquire an array of romantic admirers and befriends Mutou Yugi, Junouchi Katsuya (Joey Wheeler), Honda Hiroto (Tristan Taylor), and Mazaki Anzu (Téa Gardner). He then asked his new friends to join him in playing his favorite game, the RPG “Monster World” (a parody of Dungeons and Dragons). However, he was also upfront in saying that the game was also the reason why he kept transferring schools as apparently, those who decide to play with him always end up in a coma.

That’s just creepy. I wouldn’t want to play with him if that were the case! But this is a very good cosplay of my favorite character, so I had to feature it! Please be sure to visit~ShineUeki33 for more of her photos when you have time!

Hetalia: Axis Powers: Prussia 02

I could tell you that I felt bad about not knowing Prussia or Nanjo Koji when I posted the 90th Unknown Entry back in May, but this is actually a submission by Cherokee, so I figured, why not? And this time, with a proper article!

The older brother of Germany, Prussia will do anything to become strong. He once represented the Teutonic Knights, but later became Prussia after various stages of his life as a nation. He is currently living with Germany after his home was dissolved, though he once worked under Russia for a time.

Death Note: Mikami Teru

A criminal prosecutor who is a fanatical supporter of Kira, Mikami Teru became the 4th Kira as selected by Yagami Light. The decision was purely based on his intuition, because Light needed a new Kira proxy to hide his identity. Mikami’s sense of righteousness stems from his childhood, but his perspective has warped over the years and now firmly believes that evil must be destroyed.

Tales of the Abyss: Luke fon Fabre

The only son of a noble family in the Kingdom of Kimlasca-Lanvaldear, Luke fon Fabre is a selfish and arrogant boy whose hobby is swordsmanship. His ignorance of the real world was due to the absence of his childhood memories after a kidnapping incident. Luke possesses the ability to create “hyper resonance”on his own, an extremely powerful ability that supposedly only occurs when two fonists of the same type use their abilities in tandem.

Gurren Lagann: Yoko Littner 07

Known to be a very protective person, Yoko Littner is very vocal and is often the voice of reason for Simon and Kamina. Like Simon, she became very depressed when Kamina died, and cried in the shower despite telling Dayyaka that she was fine. In part 2, Yoko generally remained the same, but with a new outlook on violence.

The cosplayer looks so happy in this photo! Maybe it’s the article doesn’t fit the photo, but this is something I don’t get to see everyday! Thanks again to Lily for sending this in!

MPD Psycho: Kobayashi Yosuke

When Detective Kobayashi Yosuke was assigned to the case of a serial killer who dismembered his victims, he never thought his own girlfriend would later become one of the victims. She was said to have been mutilated but kept alive; the trauma of which began to make Yosuke lose his sanity. As a result, he developed a dissociative identity disorder, with two main personalities being a cool headed detective known as Amamiya Kazuhiko, and a reckless psychopath named Nishizono Shinji.

Kanokon: Minamoto Chizuru 02

A carefree, second year student at Oyamada Kouta’s school, Minamoto Chizuru may appear to be a normal teenager, but she is actually a powerful 400-year-old kitsune. When she changes her form, her black hair turns blond and she gains fox ears and a tail. She is also seen constantly hanging around Kouta, as he is the only male she acts genuinely towards because of her love for him.

Durarara!!: Heiwajima Shizuo 03

Normally, the brain restricts one's power and shuts down muscles in response to pain in order to prevent serious injury. Fortunately, or unfortunately, Heiwajima Shizuo doesn’t have this ability, making him capable of using his full strength at will. His is the naturally unlimited form of human strength, which Kishitani Shinra likens to “adrenaline power” that people get in time of emergency.

Darker than Black: Kuro no Keiyakusha: Yin 02

Yin is a "Doll", a type of medium that came into existence with the appearance of Hell's Gate. Her kind has an affinity for certain substances or elements which gives them a special ability. When they are in contact with that substance, it allows them to project “observation specters” to any location the substance is also present, and lets them view that location remotely. Yin’s medium substance is water.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End: Elizabeth Swann and Jack Sparrow

In the film “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End”, Jack Sparrow, Captain Barbossa, and seven other pirate lords were summoned to a Brethren Court in Shipwreck Island to address Lord Beckett’s assault on piracy. Jack was eternally imprisoned aboard the Black Pearl in Davy Jones’ Locker, and he possessed one of the nine “pieces of eight” that each pirate lord carried. Elizabeth Swann then joined Will Turner, Captain Barbossa, Tia Dalma, and Sparrow’s crew on a mission to recue their captain.

Inuyasha: Naraku

The series’ main antagonist, Naraku is responsible for most of the characters’ misfortunes including Kikyo’s death. Naraku was born from the fusion of Onigumo, a crippled bandit tended by Kikyo, and a horde of weak demons. Driven by his lust for the priestess, Onigumo made a bargain with the demons: in exchange for eating his flesh, the demons would conbine into one entity to become part of his new body.

Suicun OSDH makes a handsome Naraku. I love the details on her kimono and the setting is perfect as well. Thanks to one of my readers (who didn’t leave their name) for emailing this!

Nabari no Ou: Yoite 02

Named “Sora”, Yoite lived a hard life which was the reason why he so desperately wanted to be erased from the world. Although referred to as male in the series, Yoite was born intersexed and lived his life unsure of who he really was. His mother died giving birth to him, and his parents considered him to be a death god because of it. He was confined the the basement most of his life, and his half-brother Tsukasa Kodo was forbidden to approach him. At the age of 14, his family decided to kill, slitting his throat and unsuccessfully attempting to force Tsukasa to do the same. He miraculously survived, and ran away from the house with the goal to be erased from existence in his heart.

His story makes me sad. To be forgotten once you die seems like a harsh ending, even for someone like Yoite. Beautiful cosplay by Rosiael and photography by Panda Rosi! Thanks to Zeeba for suggesting this!

Vampire Knight: Yuki Cross and Kuran Kaname 02

With the knowledge of her childhood friend, Kiryuu Zero becoming a vampire, Yuki Cross decided that she would allow him to drink her blood in order to keep him from falling into a Level E. Little did she know that the very same night, she would run into Kuran Kaname, the vampire who saved her when she was only 5-years-old. Although Yuki tried to hide Zero’s fang marks, it was later revealed by Kaname’s conversation with Yagari Toga that Kaname did know what had happened, but he did not push Yuki to tell him so because he was afraid that he would lose her.

Vampire Knight: Kuran Kaname and Yuki Cross

One fateful night in Cross Academy, Yuki found Zero in the corridor, where he lost control and bit her, revealing that he had been turned into a vampire. Kaname, who happened to be meeting with Kaien at the time, was alarmed at the scent of Yuki’s blood and hurried to the scene. Furious with what had occurred, he approached Zero, but when Yuki tried to come between them, she collapsed. In a cruel manner, Kaname told Zero that he had sucked so much blood from Yuki that she could barely stand, before carrying her away to tend her bite marks.

It’s either that, or this is the scene after Kaname asked Yuki to be his lover, and their first lunch together ended with her collapsing from the hallucinations of her lost memories. Wonderful cosplay by Gust James and Satiko-hime, nonetheless!

Final Fantasy IX: Zidane Tribal

A Genome created by Garland on the planet Terra, Zidane Tribal was created to replace Kuja as a more powerful “Angel of Death”. However, Kuja became jealous of his successor and cast Zidane down to Gaia, where he was found by Baku and his group of thieves, Tantalus.

Before the events of the game, Zidane left Baku in search of his real home with only his memory of a blue light to guide him. He was unsuccessful in his quest and returned to Baku to rejoin Tantalus.
