Katekyo Hitman Reborn!: Hibari Kyoya and Dino Chiavarone

Dino was Hibari's home tutor and trainer for the “Ring Battle”. Along with Dino’s right-hand man Romario, he traveled with Hibari around the country in order to train him in various environments. However, the training was not as straight-forward as it should be, as Hibari just wanted to “bite him (Dino) to death”. Nevertheless, Dino viewed him to be quite strong for his age; one of the many reasons why he was needed for Tsuna’s Family.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!: Rokudo Mukuro, Chrome Dokuro, Hibari Kyoya, and Dino Chiavarone

When the Varia, Vongola Assassin squad claimed the right for their boss Xanxus to be the true Vongola heir, they started a competition with Sawada Tsunayoshi in order to decide. To defeat the Varia, Reborn recruited  most of Tsuna’s schoolmates to become the Vongola guardians, including Hibari Kyoya, the deadly head prefect. They were later joined by Lambo and Chrome Dokuro, a girl who has a mental and physical link with the criminal, Rokudo Mokuro.

It’s pretty awesome to have cast mates when you cosplay at a huge convention like Japan’s Winter Comiket 2010. Thanks to Neil for sending this in!

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!: Lambo

A cow suit-clad, 5-year-old assassin from Italy, Lambo is affiliated with the Bovino Familia. He has a huge afro with horns on his head in which he stores a variety of items in including snacks and weapons. Despite being a hitman, he lacks the emotional maturity and discipline that Reborn has and is also considered to be a conceited crybaby.

That is just one of the most adorable cosplays I have seen in a long time! I think this photo belongs in the Chibi Section. Thanks to Nilo for sharing this!

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!: Dino Chiavarone 02

Thanks to Reborn's training, Dino made a name for himself and became known as “Haneuma Dino” which means “Bucking Horse Dino”. He managed to fix the Chiavarone’s financial problems and turned them into the third most influential family. Dino is so devoted to the family that, when none of the family members are around, his skills decrease dramatically; often accidentally hitting people with his whip and falling down the stairs.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!: Chrome Dokuro 04

Having a completely antisocial life before she met Mukuro, Chrome Dokuro never opens up to anyone except the person who saved her life. Because of her nature, some people regard her with caution instead of pity. She only leans on Mukuro when she needs help, but later becomes determined to become stronger for the people she cares about.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!: Chrome Dokuro and Hibari Kyoya

When she was transferred into the future, Chrome’s physical condition became worse as her illusionary internal organs began failing one after the other. The adult Hibari Kyoya then instructed her to use the power of her Vongola Ring to sustain her organs through her own illusions. This allowed Chrome to escape any immediate danger, and thus prolonging her life.

Cosplayers Schoki and Hibanator make an excellent Chrome and Kyoya! I love the setting and Kyoya’s fierce attitude! Thanks to Itsuchi, their photographer as well as Miranda for the suggestion!

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!: Chrome Dokuro 02

Chrome has been shown using two of Mokuro’s six skills: creating illusions and summoning beasts to kill the enemy. She was named the holder of the Mist Ring, battling Mammon in the Vongola Tournament. When she was overwhelmed by Mammon’s powers, however, Mukuro took control and defeated him.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!: Sawada Tsunayoshi 02

A junior high school student, Tsuna is recruited as the Vongola Family’s mafia boss-in-training for being the great-great-great grandson of the first Vongola boss. He was known as “No Good Tsuna” for his poor grades, bad luck, and lack of athleticism. After Reborn shot him with the Vongola Family’s Dying Will Bullet, however, he became a powerful berserker who acts upon whatever he had regretted to make it right.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!: Dino Chiavarone

The 22-year-old, tenth generation boss of the Chiavarone Family, Dino is a fighter and a leader with exceptional skills. His main weapons, created by Reborn’s chameleon Leon, are a whip and Enzo, a turtle which grows in size and rampages when soaked in water. Like Sawada Tsunayoshi, Dino did not want anything to do with the Mafia, but became a suitable Mafia boss after Reborn became his home tutor.

Katekyo Hitman Reborn!: Byakuran 02

The former boss of the Gesso Family, Byakuran is the incumbent leader of the Millefiore Famiy. He wishes to obtain ultimate power by gathering the Vongola Rings, Mare Rings, and Arcobaleno Pacifiers together in one place. His assassination of both the Vongola and Arcobaleno Families including their friends and allies prove that he will stop at nothing to achieve his goals. Yet despite his ruthlessness towards his enemies, he maintains a carefree nature towards his subordinates.
